I loved this dish! It's so good. I've had it at church lots of times, but couldn't find the recipe. I'm so glad I found it here. It's really tasty.

My mom always made this at home when we were growing up and I have carried on the tradition with my kids. We've always called it Chicken Divan and this is my son's favorite meal. There are just two slight differences that I make. I always use more curry than what this recipe calls for. I don't measure. I just add it to taste as I heat the sauce on the stove. Also, rather than topping the dish with crackers, I coat fresh bread crumbs (broken into approx. 1/4-in. pieces) in melted butter and scatter them over the cheese. The bread browns as the dish is heated in the oven and really makes a nice topping.

This recipe was a great idea! I salt and pepper the chicken cubes before frying. I also mix the majority of ingredients together- cooked chicken, broccoli, lemon juice, soup, and mayo- adding 2-3 cloves of chopped or minced garlic. (Rather than pouring the "sauce" on top) After I put the mixture in the baking dish, I add the cheddar and top with crackers. If you have leftovers it is awesome heated in a frying pan!

I grew up eating this at family gatherings. Great for company. Last time I made it, I made two and froze one casserole before baking. It turned out a little watery when I baked it, so I will be careful to drain the chicken and the broccoli next time. I did add more curry than it called for, since I love it. I also used breadcrumbs instead of crackers.

I made this recipe a while ago, but remember liking it for the first few bites. Something really easy to put together, would make when in a bind. I'm not much of a curry fan either.

This was delicious and so easy to make! As some of the other reviewers suggested, I did not precook the chicken. Also, instead of broccoli, I used a bag of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots mixed. Finally, I cut the cheese in half to cut some of the fat. We LOVED it, and I'll definitely make it again!

This was pretty good. I made a few changes to it though. I used one can cream of mushroom and one can cream of chicken soup. I also mixed everything together, including one cup of cheese and then put in the pan. I also topped with cheese and breadcumbs mixed with melted butter.

A terrific dinner! Using others' suggestions, I omitted the cheese, but added an ounce or two of diced Velveeta Light. I also increased the curry powder and used Miracle Whip instead of mayo, with great results. Since all I had were saltines, I crushed them and drizzled some butter over the top. I also didn't cook the chicken beforehand. Definitely a keeper recipe.

Very good, my whole family really enjoyed this & my husband is not a chicken fan. It was a little salty I may use low sodium soup next time, but either way love this recipe!

This was very good for an easy weeknight dinner. I like to make extra chicken so I can use the leftovers another night to make a quick meal like this. I used one can of reg. soup and one can of low fat. I also used low fat mayo and one less cup of cheese. I mixed all the ingredients together (except for the crackers)in the bowl before adding to the baking dish and then topped with the crackers. I served it with white rice. UPDATE-I made this again and layered it as suggested in the recipe. It was much better when I mixed the ingredients together. I was a better blend.

I made this last night and it turned out excellent. I halfed the recipe since there were only 4 of us eating. I used 98% fat free cream of chicken soup, and fat free mayonnaise to make it healthier, and it turned out excellent, couldnt even notice a difference!! I also cooked the chicken in some olive oil and added extra curry powder to season the chicken, and threw in a chopped onion to cook with the chicken for extra flavor. Will definitely be making this again, thanks for the recipe!

This is something my Mother-in-law makes and now I'm making it for my husband. I use 2 cans of the healthier condensed soup but I still do use the mayo. I omit the lemon juice, curry and crackers. Instead I bake it covered, without the cheese for most of the time and near the end I add the cheese to the top and also add a layer of breadcrumbs mixed with melted butter to make a nice top and a little bit like a "crust". One tip though, be sure to pat dry/get rid of excess water from the cooked chicken and broccoli - this keeps it creamy without any water in the bottom after cooking!

This was VERY good! It tasted a lot like a hot spinach dip (just not as rich). I made several changes. I used one can of cream of chicken soup and one can of cream of mushroom soup. I also stirred about 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese into the soup and mayonnaise combination and only sprinkled about 1/4 cup on top. I also used frozen spinach, thawed (by accident actually - I thought it was finely chopped broccoli-OOPS) rather than the broccoli. I will Definetly make this again. My boys weren't so fond of it, but that is typical for them with anything that could be called a "casserole". Thanks for the great recipe.

This recipe has potential to be even better and more healthy. Let the broccoli thaw and drain excess water off. Use light mayo such as Hellmann's - you won't be able to tell the difference. Omit the 2 C. of cheese-yes it probably is good but the curry makes this recipe. Increase the curry to 1 t. Mix everything together and pour into dish. Add about 3/4 sleeve of ritz crackers and pour about 1/4 cup of melted margarine over the crackers! The combo. of flavors is incredible and the topping is great without all the melted cheese. It is one of our favorites- even the children love it!

Very good. My husband wasn't as fond of it because he thought the frozen broccoli was too crunchy. I really liked it though.

I thought the recipe had a really great taste but it was a little too oily from so much cheese. I suggest using a reduced fat cheddar cheese and also a reduced fat cream of chicken soup. I also suggest serving it over rice. I do plan on making it again with these alterations.I also followed the suggestions of not cooking the chicken separately and leaving out the cracker crumbs and this seemed to work out just fine. Thanks for the recipe!
