I have been making this recipe for a while now. My family loves it and yes, it is a great pot luck dish. I use uncooked chicken breasts (cubed) though, still cooked for an hour, and I mix all the sauce ingredients together with the cheese, until the cheese is melted, then pour it over the chicken and broccoli. I also omit the cracker topping. I have tried to make this dish with fresh, cooked broccoli, and it is better tasting with the frozen as suggested in the recipe.
