Easy and delicious! I will say to be patient getting it to thicken. It took me at least 20 minutes on medium heat and quite a bit of stirring, but it did come out thick and rich. Great recipe!

This was so very nummy!! It was a little too runny for us, so I added just a little more cornstarch. Also, after I simmered the broccoli, I used my potato masher to mash up the broccoli into little bits. My kids really appreciated that! We ate our soup w/ rueben sandwiches. It was great on a chilly day!!

My kids loved this soup! I did change it a little because I wanted to make it in the crock pot. I only used 2 cans of broth and then used my handheld blender once it was cooked. I served it in bread bowls with salad and it was a hit!

I halved the recipe, used vegetable broth (to make it vegetarian), and fresh broccoli. This is a good recipe as is but it was a bit too garlicky- weird combination to me. I will decrease the amount of garlic- probably acutally use real- next time. I will also not add quite as much cheese- very rich. A very easy recipe and very filling.

I am on a low carb diet so I substituted cheddar cheese and heavy cream for the cheese and milk. Also definately use double the cheese as many people have already suggested. You will also need to add some salt and pepper to it because it is a little bland. Next time I will also add some bacon to it to make it a meal for my low carb diet!

I wasn't too impressed with it. The soupe was very thin and I had to add extras in order for it to have some flavor.

My husband felt the soup was too thin. I thought so at first, but when I reheated it the next day it seemed slightly thicker. The taste was very good.

I made this recipe for a large family gathering. Many people went back for seconds. The only change I made was using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.

I wasn't blown away by this soup. It was good, but I thought the processed cheese food was overpowering.

OK I totally changed this but it was perfect for us. Used one half an onion and only a couple T butter. Used package of frozen borccoli cuts. Added 2 small carrots sliced small and followed directions. Then I used immersion blender to mix until just a few chunks around. For cheese used 1/2 loaf Velveeta and 2c appx shredded mild cheddar. Simmer and stir, I was watching and still slightly burnt bottom. Used 2c half and half, next time start with 1.5 c and see if that is enough. There were a few small chunks of cheese that would not melt so I used the blender again and added pepper...perfection! No need for extra water and cornstarch, when you blend the veggies it provides the thickness! Forgot the garlic...my family loved this. Thanks for the great base!
