So tasty!! I followed a suggestion and used only a 1/2 cup of milk. The batter was still a bit runny but it held up, next time I'll probably up the flour as well. Unfortunately, mine were not nearly as nice looking as the ones pictured. Will definitely make again!

These were good, but I'm glad I followed other reviews and used 1 cup of flour instead of 1/2 cup. I can't imagine the batter being any more watery. Although, I did use frozen broccoli. You can also use self-rising and omit the salt and baking powder.

i did as another suggested & doubled the flour, salt & baking powder. i'm personally not fond of greasy food, so i couldn't eat very many of these. my 21 month child on the other hand, LOVED them! he tried the honey mustard, but mainly used ranch dressing. we have a lot of broccoli ready all at once from our garden right now, so we're eating it at about every meal. thanks for the interesting idea to switch the menu up a bit!

These were pretty good, need more broccoli though. Without, they just taste like balls of fried dough.

listened to everyone with the recipe. added less moisture and more flour. to me they are light, and definatly not greasy, but are way too bready. gotta add more cheese and broccoli to offset the increase of drieds.

Really good!! I used a package of frozen broccoli and cheese and baked them in the oven and it turned out great. Even my two year old loved these. Thanks.

I myself am not a big fan of broccoli...but this recipe sure got me into eating it! I suffer from low iron intake, and my doctor was definitely pleased when she found out that I was eating more green vegetables. We didn't have cheddar cheese on hand, so I grated up half a block of marble, and they still turned out well! Thank you for sharing, Kristen!

This was good, not great but good. I too modified the recipe according to other's suggestions after making the recipe as written and seeing how runny the mixture was. However, when doubling the flour and baking soda, it would've helped to add more cheese, too, as I felt that flavor was lost. I would also add something else to spice it up a bit, they were sort of bland. I did like the honey mustard sauce with it though.

Great. Made these for our game night group and they were a big hit. Following others' suggetions, flour, salt and baking powder were all doubled. We made 2 batches, one with broccoli and one with cauliflower. The latter was my favorite.

like someone said before, these definitely have the potential to be good, however the batter wouldn't stick so we were basically just eating broccoli. The sauce was a bit too sweet as well so I had to add a lot more mustard. I like the idea of these so I think I'll try making them again but add more flour.

A good start but these seem to be lacking some flavor. I did double the cheese and used one cup of flour as suggested by another reviewer. Next time I will try adding some seasonings for more flavor--maybe some garlic or onion. I loved the honey mustard dip and I also made a dip with one half fat free sour cream and one half low fat ranch which was just as tasty! (some of the party-goers didn't like mustard)!

My husband loved these I thought they were ok. For me I thought you couldn't taste the cheese and I used mature cheddar. The sauce was great though. Think I might make these again because husband liked them so much. Thanks.

THESE ARE THE BEST! I MADE THEM TO TAKE TO A GATHERING AND THEY DISAPPEARED RIGHT AWAY AND THEY WANTED MORE. I DID ADD I CUP OF FLOUR AND A BIT MORE SALT. VERY EASY TO MAKE.

I love the Broccoli Bites from Bennigan's, and I was hoping this recipe would replicate them, but I was disappointed. Perhaps it's because I baked mine instead of frying, but they were very doughy and not at all like the ones from the restaurant. I think if you go into it *not* expecting it to copy the restaurant, they are ok.

Awesome! The only three things I changed were to increase the flour to 1 cup, the baking powder to 1 tsp. and the salt to 1 tsp. because someone in these reviews suggested it. They came out absolutely perfect and go great with the honey mustard dip. I made them for tonight's New Year's Eve party and I think everyone will like them. The only problem is stopping myself from sneaking them while my boyfriend is in the shower. I've got to save them for the party!!

These are awesome! I made these for my friends and our kids as an appetizer and everyone gobbled them up, even the kids! I did add extra flour (about 1/4 C.) to thicken the batter a bit more and used a teaspoon to drop them into the oil. I will definately make these again!
