Great comfort food! I followed the recipe almost exactly, except for subbing in reconstituted dried mushrooms for the fresh ones, and adding more milk instead of all half and half.

This recipe is amazing! I added a little cheddar cheese and some cayenne pepper and it was perfect. Great great flavor. One of my favorite soups so far, very filling!

Loved it! Very flavorful and hearty. I used 7c.fat free/reduced sodium chix broth and 1c. fat free 1/2 and 1/2. Very warming and family really enjoyed it, something different.Thanks!

This was really good. My husband, who usually prefers his soups hot and spicy, commented that although it's not spicy, it was a "nice change." The taste is mild, but the garlic and onion are plenty to flavor this. I used probably 5 garlic cloves because we love garlic, and the taste was still not overpowering.
