A rich, buttery delight, brioche is sublime served alone with perhaps a little jam and, in the French manner, a steaming bowl of cafe au lait. You can make it in loaves or experiment with shapes, baking as large rolls with a top knot, for instance.

I found this recipe in one of my mother's old cookbooks. My family doesn't like raisins, so they were thrilled to hear it contains chocolate chips instead.

These rich flaky butterhorns were made on Good Friday morning or Christmas Eve morning when I was growing up. We used them to celebrate the end of Lent or Advent and the joy of family and friends coming together. They're so special, they're worth the bit of extra effort. -Michael Engerson, Hustisford, Wisconsin

I always loved the aroma of Mom's kitchen, especially when these sweet, tender rolls were in the oven. When I take them to a potluck, people always snitch before serving time.

I love to bake and try new recipes. These soft rolls are a favorite...I like to experiment by adding different flavors to the creamy filling.
