MY WORD! i absolutley love this recipe. I had a cold/flu for about 2 or 3 weeks, and after a few days of drinking nothing but oj, it got tiring. The pom. gives a unique twist to the common orange juice. ill serve these at any girls night in. The only suggestion id make, is using alittle more pom syrup. It adds more flavor, and color, yummm!

Anyone who has been to a bar knows this is a tequila sunrise minus the tequila. If you really wanted to try something interesting, cut the orange juice with some champagne and serve it for breakfast. Then at least it's an interesting version of a mimosa.

I have been making my grandson these for years (we call them sunrises but I like your name better)...I wanted to try Ashley's idea of adding rum but I'm out of white rum (only have the gold & was afraid of adding too much rum taste) so I added a shot of vodka to mine. Yummy!
