Quiche haters were converted!! Easy and delicious.
Tried this recipe and maybe I didn't follow it properly because the bottom of the crust came out watery. I'm thinking maybe the next time I make this, I won't use as much half and half. Instead of a cup and a half, I'll just do a cup.
I tried making this today, and botched it so badly; I accidentally grabbed fat-free half-and-half (yes, it DOES exist, apparently), the wrong kind of sausage, and the wrong size of pie tin. Tried to balance out the ingredients until they fit...and still ended up with an utter mess in the oven. It STILL came out pretty darn tasty, so it must be FANTASTIC when done properly!
This was a hit! everyone loved it and was even asked by an Italian gentlemen how to make it he wants to take it back home and make it for his fam! The only thing I did dif was us orange flavored cranberries it gives the salad a good twist to the flavor!
