Directions

  1. Stir milk, egg, crumbled bacon, and chives together in a 2-cup glass measuring cup.
  2. Cook in microwave oven until the egg mixture is solid in the center, 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
  3. Heat a small skillet over medium heat; cook sausage patty in hot skillet until hot in the center, 2 to 3 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
  4. Sandwich the cooked egg, sausage, and cheese between the donut halves.

I LOVED this! I didn't add anything to the eggs, just scrambled them plain and cooked them. Put that in between the donut 1/2's along w/ the sausage and cheese. Great sweet/savory flavor combination...will def make this again! Thanks for sharing. :)

Ever since I saw this on Man Vs Food I wanted to try this. I used turkey sausage and a morningstar patty beecause that was what I had in the freezer and shredded mozz because I couldnt quite bring myself to buy processed cheese. On Man vs food they grilled the sandwich so I did the same... glazed side inside the sandwich to save the glaze and make it a little neater. It was an interesting sandwich.. I liked the play between sweet and savory

It was so delicious! The only thing is my brother said when tried it is to put the glazed side on the inside if the sandwich so your fingers don't get too much glaze on them.
