Very good. The only reason I didn't rate at 5 stars was because I still needed to add a little additional seasoning to get them nice and spicy. I used a chicken flour mix that I make up myself that has lots of spices and mixed that with italian bread crumbs. I also added about 1/4 cup of hot sauce to the buttermilk. They were great. The recipe as is makes a lot of chicken fingers, but they keep well, and cut up make a great fried chicken salad. They didn't actually last that long in my house anyway, so I didn't have to think of very many ways to use them.

I printed this recipe and my 17 yr. old neice made them as her part of a "finger-foods dinner." We didn't have time to marinate in the buttermilk, so we just dipped them in it before breading. They still turned out awesome. I can't wait to make these again when we have time to allow for marinating!!

These fingers were great tasting and easy to make. I used panko crumbs and seasoned with garlic power, onion, power, pepper and cayenne. Also added additional seasoning to the buttermilk mixture. Served with honey mustard...but they were so good I prefer them plain! Thank you!

My husband's favorite food is chicken nuggets/fingers so I made these as a treat for him last night. He loved them, which means I'll be making them often. They're super easy and they come out so juicy and tender. Thanks for the recipe.

I was so happy with this recipe. I used my new deep fryer for the first time and I was worried that they wouldn't turn out well. Luckily I was wrong and these were delicious! I used Italian seasoned panko instead of bread crumbs and they were perfectly crunchy. I will definitely be making these again.

These definitely didn't last long on my table. I made some honey mustard sauce to dip them in and they were gone in no time. They were very good and the recipe was fairly easy, but I'll try some other chicken strip recipes before I settle on this one.

WONDERFUL RECIPE, a hit with the kids and even though I thought it would be greasy it wasn't at all!!! loved it!!! I didn't have much time to refrigerate, I only left the chicken refrigerate in the zip lock bags with the sauce for about 30 minutes and it still tasted awesome!!!

Really good...I soaked the chicken in the buttermilk and egg mixture overnight. They were moist and tender with a nice crispy crust. Perfect dipped in Honey Mustard II from this site.

These are very good- I don't like to fry too often & "grease" up the house! If you slice the chicken breasts thinly on the diagonal, you don't have to pound. I think the recipe needs a little pepper. The whole fam liked them- keep an eye on them so they don't get too brown! Dipped in "Honey Mustard Sauce" from this site & also used some Panko for part of the bread crumbs.

Great as-is! I used lemon juice and milk instead of buttlemilk, too, and pounded the chicken--it melts in your mouth! Definitely worth the calories :)

I let this marinate in the fridge overnight and then fried it the next day at work for Superbowl Snack Day. It was a huge hit and people were eating it as fast as I could fry it. I did add some chili powder and cayenne pepper to the mix to give it a smidge of bite. I will definitely make this again!

VERY VERY GOOD!! I made the mistake of putting all the chicken pieces in the bag at the same time which made it difficult to coat them all. Put them in a few pieces at a time.
