This is a delicious way to make bratwurst that is pretty fast and easy. The potatoes are my favorite part of this recipe! You can tweak with the spices to your own tastes, but this version is definitely good.

me and the kids didn't like it at all but my husband loved it which is unusual. He is normally hard to please. When I put the soy sauce and orange juice on it made the potatoes a little soggy

We just had this tonight for dinner and it was pretty good. I took other reviewers' advice and served with scrambled eggs and my family all enjoyed it. My son was especially excited to learn that there was enough leftover for him to warm it up for breakfast. I tasted this throughout the cooking process and decided to add about a teaspoon of cayenne pepper--definitely a great idea. I didn't like the idea of flipping the rounds of potatoes so I cubed mine instead. It took a little longer to get them cooked, but I'm sticking with the cubes next time I make it. Serving with rice, as some suggested, seems a bit strange to me--having two starches in one meal (potatoes and rice) just doesn't sound good to me. The orange juice and soy sauce were both great tasting, and neither one overpowered anything--don't mess with the measurements given in the recipe and you'll do just fine.

Wow, with all the great reviews on this, I thought I'd love it and was very disappointed. I thought the soy was overwhelming. I won't make it again.

It was really simple and came together in a snap, but very satisfying. Serve with a German-inspired salad or veggie, and voila! Fingerling potatoes worked wonderful.

Very good and easy. I used low sodium soy salt and didn't add the salt since some people said it was salty. It was perfect!

I made this for my husband and he loved it. I didnt have any orange juice, so I substituted lemon juice and added extra green pepper. Instead of adding salt to the soy sauce mixture, I sprinkled a little over the potatoes while they were cooking. He thinks it would be better over rice so I'll do that next time. It was so quick and easy, thanks for a great recipe.

I've also made this using kielbasa and my personal preference is to use red bell peppers. An excellent recipe.

This was just great. My only complaint was that the potatoes weren't crispy enough for me. (I'll admit that the only way I like them is just about burned.) Next time I'll start a lot earlier and make sure the taters get good and browned before adding the other ingredients.

Very Good! My picky boys loved it. I doubled the recipe to make enough for four of us and thought the soy sauce would be overpowering but it was just right. This would also make a great breakfast dish, maybe with some egg/omelet to go with it. The potatoes/peppers/onions were similar homestyle hash browns in restaurants. We'll do this again!

Gave this 4 stars because of the modifications I made: sliced the green peppers and onions and only used half of the recommended amount of soy sauce. Still a tad bit more salty than I'd like - maybe double orange juice next time to balance. I would also double the amount sauce. Served over steamed rice.

Similar to a breakfast skillet minus the eggs. Need to increase the sauce to add a bit more flavor. Easy, quick, and another idea for using bratwurst.

This recipe is great for Bratwurst! It's easy too! I heated up some leftovers & threw them in a flour tortilla with melted cheddar cheese. To my surprise, it was really good! I've made this more than once & that indicates it's a keeper!

Oh my goodness! I loved it. I have a two year old and five year old who are the pickiest eaters in the world, and they both had seconds! I wouldn't change the recipe, except I may add some fresh mushrooms next time! Kudos.

Delicious! Though I made a few changes... I sliced the onions and green pepper instead of chopping, to keep everything fairly uniform; I also added about 1/2 cup of sliced brussels sprouts, and 1 tsp. crushed garlic. We skipped the O.J. (didn't have any!) and served it with dark rye bread and dill pickles. YUM!!!
