Braised Short Ribs:
bone-in beef short ribs
extra virgin olive oil
Spanish onion, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
celery ribs, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
carrots, peeled, cut in half lengthwise, then cut into 1/2-inch pieces
garlic cloves, smashed
1 1/2 cups
hearty red wine, or more to taste
fresh thyme, tied with kitchen string
Roasted Garlic Horseradish Mashed:
1 (4 ounce) package
Idahoan® Roasted Garlic Flavored Mashed Potatoes, prepared
prepared horseradish sauce
I do a lot of cooking from scratch these days and this is hands down one of the best recipes I have ever made. So incredibly good. The flavours are incredible, the vegetable puree makes a wonderful thick sauce - even my little kids loved this one. Can't wait to make this for my parents when they are visiting.
