I just made this tonight and it was delicious. The kids loved it too. It was quick, easy and very flavorful. I halved the recipe and it turned out great. This would be great with a side of mashed potatoes. I will be making this one again!

My husband would give it 5 stars. It was good to me, but I wasn't scrambling for more--though I will definitely put it in rotation. Followed others: only used 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (used Wegman's store brand and it was fine) and 1/4 cup chicken broth and added fresh garlic. I accidentally thought I had diced tomatoes, but after I'd already started cooking, I realized that it was actually tomato sauce. So I used just half the can. I mixed the sauce, vinegar, and spices together and set aside. I placed chicken directly on top of the onions and garlic and moved everything around every now and then. Simmered it in the sauce for just the requisite 15 minutes. Tasty!

Made this for dinner for the family and then I left for work. I reheated this for lunch the next day and it was delicious! I used boneless chicken thighs, and diced up fresh tomatoes because I didn't have any canned. I also added a little bit of chicken stock to give me more of a sauce. I will definitely be making this again.

I decided to make this recipe, because I wanted to mix things up a bit. I am not a big fan of vinegar anything (normally), but wanted to make it as I thought my husband would like it. We BOTH loved it. I did change somethings after reading other people's reviews. I mixed a little less than 3/4 a cup of the balsamic vinegar with a cup of chicken broth and about 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and only a fraction of the seasonings called for and set aside. Then I browned the onions and once those were ready I added 2 teaspoons of fresh minced garlic then added the chicken to brown. Then I just added a can of diced tomatos and brought it to a boil and then ccovered and simmered it until it was done. This was different and very tasty. I even loved the chicken reheated!

I love balsamic vinegar but in this recipe it was over powering. Didn't care too much for it.

I thought this recipe was delicious! Super easy to make. I found this recipe, cooked it and ate it all within an hour! I love balsamic vinegar. If you don't, you probably wouldn't like this. The onions and tomatoes in the balsamic are so sweet and yummy!

Wow! What a great flavor! I was a little skeptical at first but this has turned out to be one of my favorites! Didn't measure since I halved it...just used the spices and technique and played it by "feel"....it's fantastic!

Very easy to make, quick and most of the ingredients you'll probably have in the pantry. The herbs and balsamic make this recipe. Very healthy, and a great protein hit. Would be great with a handful of mushrooms and chopped garlic.
