A little too high on the pasta side of the pasta to sauce ratio for my taste, but the sauce alone is quite good. I had enough for a second meal, so I packed it into a casserole and froze it. Thawed it, added a thin layer of sauce and a little fresh cheese and baked it, and it was even better.

Delicious! Tastes like it came from a restaurant! I used two 14.5oz cans of diced tomatoes with garlic, oregano and onions, in place of the tomatoes this recipe called for just to save on time. The leftovers were really good too!

I couldn't bring myself to drain that good juice from the tomatoes, so I didn't and won't in future either. I subbed half-and-half for the heavy cream. Very good!

This is a easy recipe and it's great. I grill the sausage and they cut them into slices then mix them in that way.

This was delicious! Don't hesitate to try it! I did use a couple variations. I used penne instead of bow tie. Instead of the canned tomatoes, I used fresh and threw in some italian seasoning. Also, I only had one cup of heavy cream, so I added about 1/2 c. of sour cream to it. It came out SO good! I would definitely make this again.

This was FANTASTIC. The only thing I did different from the original recipe was to use a can of Italian seasoned diced tomatoes and I used mild sausage instead of sweet.

This is one of my favorite recipes!! Thank you so much to whoever came up with this. Some tricks I've tried to make it a little more healthy because I eat it at least once a week are to use turkey Italian Sausage, whole-wheat pasta in place of regular bow-tie, and instead of all heavy cream, use 1 cup skim milk with 1tbs cornstarch and 1tbs flour to thicken (for proportions) or use half of that mixture with the heavy cream if you don't like that texture. The whole wheat pasta makes this dish even more filling, and these 3 changes can cut out a lot of calories and fat without loosing hardly any flavor.

I LOVED this dish! I followed the recipe exactly with only one exception. Unfortunately I am counting calories so I substituted the yummy heavy cream that I SO wanted to use for hood fat free simply smart half and half. Guess what..It was still delicous! I can't wait to make this one again. Thank you for the great recipe.

I was suggested this recipe at the Recipe Exchange here at the site and I am so glad I did it! I didn't have any heavy cream and so I used 1/2 & 1/2 as so many did in the reviews and it worked great. I also added almost a cup of parmesan cheese that I was surprised I didn't see much of in the reviews for alteration and I would do it again, delish! It's a keeper, thanks all!

I love this dish - a girlfriend made it for me one night when I was in town visiting, and I liked it so much that I went home and made it the next night for my family! I'm on WW, and needed to make it friendly...so, I only use 1 tbsp. olive oil, I use turkey sausage and season it with basil, red pepper flakes and salt, and I use crushed tomatoes and fat free half & half. Going this route makes it 7 points for a 1 cup serving!!!
