This was excellent. I cooked Italian sausages, sliced them and added them to the sauce instead of the crumbled sausage. I used coffee cream with good results.

This was great. Immediately everyone told me to save that recipe. I'd suggest you use a little more sausage and get medium to hot sausage instead of mild to bump up the flavor a notch. Excellent. Agree with all, cream is the key. (even though I used fat free half and half)

This was okay. It is missing something and didn't have enough pizzazz for me. My husband said it was good. I may try it again and add something else to it to give it more flavor.

This is ABSOLUTELY a keeper!! It's easy and fast to make (my 2 favorite things) and has such great flavor. I made a few changes: added a little Italian seasoning and basil, and used evaporated milk since that's what I had on hand. I added a little parm cheese to the sauce which thickened it up perfectly. My only regret is that I didnt make this sooner. Kudos to whoever submitted this recipe.

Very tasty. Not too creamy. I will add parm next time. I was afraid of the red pepper and didn't use too much. I will increase the amount next time.

Yummy! This has some of my favorite ingredients in it so I had to try it. It was a great weekday dinner since it was ready fast with little prepping. Thanks for posting - this is a keeper!

SO Yummy! The sausage DEFINITELY makes this! I used Trader Joe's Spicy Italian Chicken Sausage. For me, I didn't need to drain any grease. I used drained diced can tomatoes & added Italian Seasoning & some Dried Basil & Dried Oregano. I topped it off with a little parsley & basil, plus grated parmensean cheese. THIS WILL DEFINITELY BECOME A REGULAR IN MY HOUSEHOLD! Next time I think I might added some sauted mushrooms or chopped frozen spinach.

This was fantastic! I followed other reviews and opted for the half & half instead of heavy cream. Used 2 cups of the half & half and added a little bit of cornstarch. Tasted great! I also omitted the parsley. Very warm and delicious! My husband loved it!

An excellent recipe that we make regularly. We use half and half instead of cream because it cuts calories. We also use fresh plum tomatoes.

I have made this dish many, many times now & it is great. My husband likes it & he is not big on cream sauces & our son loves it. He would probably eat this every night if he could. The only things I do differently, is to use whole milk instead of heavy cream; since I always have that in my fridge. If the sauce seems thin just mix cornstarch in some water & add small amounts of that in until you get the consistency that you want; just like making gravy :) I will also add mushrooms or some type of vegetable on occasion; depending on what I have in my kitchen, but I always use the Sweet Italian Sausage.

Not light on the calories, but definitely delicous! I tried to use fat free half and half but it was runny so next time I will use the regular stuff. Husband and I both loved it.

Easy, easy, easy to prepare and never fails to impress. I have tweaked it slightly for my own tastes but the original as written is 5 stars too. I like to use hot sausage instead of sweet and then omit the red pepper flakes. I also finish the sauce with 2-3 Tablespoons of butter (It's already loaded with calories from the sausage, pasta, and cream so why not just go all the way with it!)

This was one of those recipes I was really excited to make. And it was just as good as I expected! I didn't change anything - although next time I will use turkey sausage and lighter cream. The issue - my husband tried it and wouldn't even eat it! He's really picky and doesn't like cream sauces. He's eaten them before, so I thought it might work. Go figure. If I make again, it will be for company or a lot of people.
