We loved this - though mine looked much different from the picture... :) We also left the onions out as my hubby doesn't like onions (too bad) I thought the sauce would be great with seafood instead of sausage as well and I will try it with that sometime. I will make this again for sure! A great meal! YUMMY

Given the simplicity of the dish - this was ridiculously good!! We used mildly spicy Italian sausage, so we omitted the red pepper flakes. We also used seasoned diced tomatoes and increased the garlic to 4 cloves. The end result was so yummy - and totally guest worthy fare.

I changed a few things. Changes: reg diced tomato, turkey sausage, added broccli, added bell pepper (red, orange and yellow) I also didnt use very much red pepper flake. It turned out really good. My husband (who hates veggies and pasta) had a second helping of this dish. I also think the left overs are good.

My husband thought this was *amazing* but I just thought pretty good. He's first gen Italian so... it's a keeper. I added 1 tsp italian seasoning to the diced tomatoes (regular, not roma), next time I'll add more along with diced red peppers. On suggestion of the submitter I combined the pasta with the sauce before serving which solved the liquid-y problem others had.

This was a tasty, kid pleasing recipe. I added kidney beans for extra protein. The sauce tossed in the patsa was tasty and thick.

This is delicious! We added extra red pepper and one can of diced tomatoes as well as a few T of marinara sauce, but I don't think it needed it.

Very hearty and delicious! I omited the oil and just cooked the sausage in pan with cooking spray. Didn't use pepper flakes (husband not a spicy food fan). Used fat free half-n-half instead of heavy cream. Used half canned tomatoes (drained) and half fresh (seeded and chopped). Results were excellent and leftovers heated up nicely.

I had gone to one of my girlfriend's houses recently and she had this out (leftovers no less) along with a couple of other things for a quick dinner. I fell in love and asked where she got the recipe. I made this myself tonight with a few minor changes and WOW WOW WOW, it was just as good if not better. CHANGES: I used Olive Oil Cooking Spray, Lean Turkey Italian Sausage (Hot), Fat Free Half & Half, Diced tomatoes (w/basil, oregano & garlic) and a few shakes of Wondra for thickening (since I used the FF Half & Half). I love it, husband loves it, a total winner!! I am going over to my Sister-in-laws for Halloween and I'm going to make a batch of this and bring it along.

This was so good!! I followed the recipe exactly except I used a 16 oz package of pasta. It was too much, and I had to use more tomatoes and cream to make up for the extra pasta. But it left me with too little sausage. Next time I will definitely only use a 12 oz package of pasta. It was still soooooo good though. My husband absolutely loved it. He never really raves about anything I cook, but he raved about this. He's pretty picky. I will definitely be making this many more times. Thanks for the delicious recipe!!

This was soo good! We made it last night for dinner and I'm polishing off the leftovers now. The sauce came out just a little bit loose at first, but give it a few minutes and it tightens right up. One tip is don't rinse your pasta when you drain it. Rinsing it only rinses away the starch which helps thicken up the sauce, but also adds extra water, which could make it too soupy. Definately something we will make again!

This was ok. Next time I will use shallots instead of onions for a more mild flavor to go along with the creaminess. Also I would add the red pepper flakes last instead of sauteing them.

This was 4 stars after my tweaking. I used 2 cans of undrained diced tomatoes, lots of garlic, basil and parmesan, a chopped red pepper and instead of crumbling the sausage i cut it into bite sized links. This gave the dish a much nicer presentation. Served with a nice salad and garlic bread, it was yummy. Thanks for a good start! I will be definitely be making this again.
