This barbecue sauce is really something else. I made this a few months ago, and I got nothing but compliments on it. I intially used it with the Amazing Ribs recipe also from this site, but I had a ton left over. Not for long though, my husband and friends consistently requested it with any type of barbecued food or even just french fries! Needless to say, I was completely out within a month of when I made it. Also, it seems to get better and better the longer it sits. I will make more tonight to prepare for the Packers to win the championship this weekend and hopefully have some left for the SuperBowl!! Thanks for the recipe! And yes, you should be bottling this and selling it!
**UPDATE** The first itme I made it, I used Maker's Mark whiskey because that is what I had on hand, last night I used Jack Daniels because I had no whiskey and that is what my husband brought from the store. I will try it again tonight, but based on my tasting yesterday, Jack makes it a little more tangy than Maker's Mark. I preferred the taste of the MM version, but the Jack is pretty good as well, depends on how tangy you like your barbecue sauce.
