My Own Macaroni and Cheese

Plenty of flavor is packed into this hearty macaroni casserole! Tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots and crispy bits of bacon are tossed with pasta and Cheddar cheese, then baked with more cheese, dried basil and sliced tomatoes on top.

You will love the flavor of sauteed onion, garlic and bacon in this rich and creamy macaroni and cheese bake. The secret to the cheese sauce is constant stirring over low heat. Add the milk just a bit at a time and keep stirring!

Cheddar cheese soup and condensed milk get a dose of mustard and a dash of black pepper before blanketing macaroni for a rich and creamy bake. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the top to make a crunchy crust.

This warm, gooey casserole is an happy merger of macaroni, butter, milk, dashes of onion and garlic powders, a sprinkling of parsley flakes and three kinds of full-flavored cheeses. Just toss them all together and bake until perfectly melted.

This is pure picnic food, but can work as a winter 's evening supper as well. Macaroni noodles are cooked up and splashed with vinegar and then folded into chilled veggies - tomatoes, cheese, peppers, green onions, and celery. Then comes the herbed mayonnaise. Serves six.
