Really good! Only change I'll make is to cut down on the pepper, it was a little too peppery for my liking.

I have been making this recipe for quite a few years now and always love it. The pepper amount is way too much and I love pepper. I use about 1/2 tsp. Even my son who hates broccoli will make this salad for himself. I always take the extra time to cut the broccoli into tiny pieces. I also peel the stock and use it as well it is worth the trouble. Keeps several days.

This is a wonderful salad to take to a pot luck event. I reduce the amount of mayonnaise because I am not a big mayo fan. I also add shredded carrots and raisins. Yum!

This is the stuff I crave! My mouth starts watering just thinking about it! Make sure you use Sharp cheese, and I add a little extra sugar. Way to make broccoli unhealthy!!!

great! lots of compliments on this salad and requests for it when invited over. I don't eat meat - so I just didn't add the bacon, and it was still yummy!

I made this omitting the cheese but adding sunflower seeds and raisins. Had to double the dressing but that may be because I had too much broccoli. It is always delicious and served at my bunco party.

Delicious! I added chopped walnuts and golden raisins, omitted the cheese and used Oscar Mayer Ready to Serve Real Bacon. I also reduced the salt and pepper by 1/2.

I found the dressing way too salty. I threw out 1/2 of it, added another 1/2 C mayo and more sugar and it was much better. I will do 1/2 the amount of salt in the future. I also added raisens and sunflower seeds.

The recipe for the dressing on this salad is outstanding, though I had to double it so that the salad would not be dry. As far as the salad itself goes, I made a couple of changes. I used turkey bacon rather than pork bacon and fresh squeezed orange juice because I didn't have a lemon. I also added 1/2 cup each of sunflower seeds and craisins. Everyone very much enjoyed it!

I like how the dressing doesn't overpower the tastes of the broccoli and bacon. I omitted the onion due to personal preference. Great stuff and hope its a hit this holiday weekend!

Sooooo Good. A wonderful fresh summer salad. The only modification I made was to add a bit more sugar and a bit more mayo to make it a little creamier.

Excellent recipe. And I never liked broccoli before I tasted this! I also use the dressing on macaroni salad instead of a heavier mayo dressing for something different at times.

I doubled the broccoli and mayo. I used one packet of stevia instead of sugar. I put in 1/3 cup cider vinegar instead of the red wine vinegar. I omitted the lemon juice. We loved it!

This was good, but my family prefers my other recipe better. The recipe I have is sweeter and calls for golden raisins and less cheese. I think I'll stick to my other recipe for a sweeter salad.

OK, I admit I'm mostly rating the dressing, since I make the salad any old way it strikes my fancy, depending on what ingredients I have on hand. (You can't do it wrong.) But that dressing -- wow! I love it! I do cut back the pepper to just 1/2 tsp. when I serve it to guests because I know not everyone is fond of strong pepper taste; but either way, it's a great blend of flavors. I've also used the dressing for mixed green salad with good results.

Made this recipe for a picnic. I did add a handful of Craisins because I like the sweet/savory flavor of dried fruit with onion. I also used pre-packaged pre-cooked bacon bits instead of cooking bacon. Everybody raved about the recipe and I told them I got it off of this website. When I got home I realized that I forgot to add the lemon juice. Next time I won't forget it and I bet it will be even better. Excellent. You and your guests will be going back for seconds.
