"This is a great basic BBQ sauce our family got from a fireman friend. It has a nice zing from some horseradish. We've used it on everything from chicken to meatloaf! This is also great to increase the servings, bottle it up and refrigerate for multiple uses."

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, cider vinegar, ketchup, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and horseradish sauce. Refrigerate until ready to use.

I made 6 different BBQ sauce recipes today and my husband and I just had a taste test - this was the favorite of both of us! I made it exactly as directed. It was a great opportunity to use up some of the horseradish I bought at Christmas. Thanks Teri! Yum!!

This is very good, but next time I will use less sugar. Too sweet for my taste.

My daughter just used this for a BBQ chicken contest and won first place!! She even said it was the best chicken she had ever eaten.

Very easy and soo tasty!I added honey (about 2 tbls) and a dash of cayenne pepper(i didnt have any horseradish) my kid's along with the adult's loved it on bbq chicken thnx will be making this again :)

Very good, very easy. Added some paprika and garlic powder.

Great sauce!!!! I didn't have any horseradish sauce, and I added a couple of dashes of garlic powder, it turned out great. Will use again.
