"Oatmeal is a great way to start the day and this is a recipe I have developed over the years. It's delicious, light, and great with milk to help cool it down. You can replace the milk with soy milk, if desired. You can add the blueberries earlier in the cooking process if you like them hotter and plumper."
Hmm. None of these ingredients are on sale today.

1 1/3 cups
crushed flax seed
fresh blueberries, or more to taste
It tastes delicious
Made this oatmeal scaled for 7 servings this morning. I used almond-coconut milk instead of regular milk. My 4 hungry eaters loved this oatmeal. The verdict is still out with two because they are still sleeping. The consistency is great and it is not too sweet for little ones. The vanilla adds an extra something.
Thank you for this recipe, it is going into my stash of keepers per request of my children.
