This was great. I didn't have just blueberries on hand, only mixed frozen berries. But this was great. I used it on my pancakes, but it would be awesome on cheesecake or something like that.

This is a great sauce. I make a full recipe and use it during the week. What makes it perect is the nutmeg. If you can grate it fresh, it's the best. I also substitute Splenda for the sugar. Tastes great!

This was so easy and delicious! I liked that it wasn't so syrupy and sweet like some sauces. We poured this over a danish-like dessert but it would be great with ice cream, pancakes, you name it. Yum!

This was not at all what I expected. Very good, but don't expect it to taste like restaurant spiced blueberry sauce. I let mine cool and ate it on angel food cake. It would be wonderful on pound cake. I can't really imagine it on pancakes or waffles because it would compete with the taste. I will save this for special occasion/company dessert.

I'm sorry but this is a terrible thing to do to perfectly good blueberries. It sounded like such a great idea, but despite following the recipe exactly, we did not care for it. The spice was overbearing and we did not like the taste. If I could give it a zero star review I would.

Very sweet, but a wonderful addition to our somewhat-dry French toast! Also good stirred into oatmeal for breakfast the next morning.

Absolutely amazing! Makes everything taste special! Try a waffle with a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt, topped with the blueberry sauce and some canned real whipped cream - GREAT QUICK DESSERT!

I followed another reviewer's advice and added 1/2 teaspoon orange extract---that truly took it to higher level. Very very yummy. My family really liked it, but all commented that "it tastes like Christmas" because of the spices. Yet on our 4th of July lemon cake, it will still be served!

Easy, quick and DELICIOUS! I scaled to four servings and used frozen organic blueberries. I served over Wife Saver French Toast. This would be great over ice cream! Will make again.

I'm giving this recipe five stars, even though I tweaked it. As is, it is still a very good sauce, but add half a teaspoon of orange extract, and you have what my fiance says is the best sauce he has ever tasted. Very complex and interesting flavor. I served it over mini cheesecakes that I had added some orange extract to and they were divine. I would suggest serving it once cooled though, more of the blueberry flavor comes out as it cools down.

Easy, fast, delicious; the spices keep it from being cloying. I used frozen wild blueberries. I had made a plain cake that needed something extra, and this sauce was perfect. The leftover sauce kept well for a couple of days. I can imagine lots of uses for this, and will definitely make it again.

Very good, we ate this sauce over ice cream tonight. Sweet yet the cinnamon and nutmeg give a wonderful fall and winter flavor to a summer fruit. I used vanilla sugar instead of the sugar. Very good!
