This blueberry sauce was excellent and easy. My family really liked this sauce. I liked it, but I'm wondering if I could use less sugar, next time. I like blueberry sauce with orange juice and lemon zest, but I didn't have any orange juice or lemons. This worked great, instead. I used frozen blueberries that I picked and froze, myself. I let the blueberries thaw for about 1/2 hour, first, sitting over a jar of hot water. I also used a 3 quart pan because I don't have a 2 quart pan. I have an electric/ceramic cooktop stove, and it took about 20 minutes to bring the sauce to boiling with the dial turned one notch higher than medium heat. I also let it boil for two minutes instead of one because it didn't seem thick enough. It was perfect. Thanks for the recipe.

Super easy and delicious! I did add a little bit more cornstarch to thicken it up. A keeper for sure. I served it over whole wheat pancakes.

Made this as a topping for cheesecake - fantastic and easy! The only change I made was to use two tablespoons of cornstarch to avoid a syrup consistency - I wanted the topping to sit on the cheesecake without dripping down the sides. I paired this with a lemon cheesecake and the flavor combo was awesome!

We loved this blueberry sauce. The only thing I did differently was to add about another teaspoon of cornstarch because it was a little too runny for my taste. I served it over Brown Sugar Oatmeal Pancakes from this site and it was really good. I'll be making this one again. Thanks for the recipe.

This was really good! I used frozen blueberries and decreased the sugar a bit, as I like more blueberry flavour and less sweetness. I served it over whole wheat pancakes and it was delicious!

I used frozen, unsweetened blueberries and one guest commented that it was nice that it didn't have the super sweet taste of pancake syrup. 2 Tbsp cornstarch gave it the consistency of jam, but it was great. Blueberries don't roll off the pancakes on the way to your mouth. :) Thanks so much Ellen!

I had to double the corn starch as well to get the consistency I wanted. A bit sweet, but otherwise, very good. I love how easy it was to make.

This was great! I put it on top of so-so pancakes and it made them seem delicous. I almost used another recipe with more ingredients and then saw this one, I'm glad I did because I saved time, and money and got the same great taste! Very Easy. Thanks!

This was pretty good, particularly given how few ingredients it has and how quickly it came together. I can't wait to try it with other fruit. I put it on my pancakes.

This is really simple to make & pretty good. I am not a huge blueberry fan but decided to make this for friends, after being given a huge basket of blueberries. They thought it was really good. Served over pound cake and ice cream, topping it with whipped cream. I liked the ease of this recipe & the very short ingredients list. Thanks!
