Not the one Mom use to make, won't make it again. It was a let down.

The cream cheese layer was bitter; I added more sugar, and it was still just ok. There's also a better recipe for the whipped cream: 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1 T Confectioners sugar, and 1 t vanilla.

This was yummy & a hit with our friends! I used frozen bluberries that I simmered w/ some sugar & corn starch instead of pie filling, so probably it was not as blueberry-y as the original recipe. I took the advice of others & did a 1 1/2 batch of the cream cheese, which was definitely a good idea. Future ideas might be to spray the pan before putting down the crust (or add more butter to crumbs as others mentioned), as I had a little trouble getting it out & it fell apart, also could use cool whip instead of whipping the cream yourself to save time & also possibly hold the shape better. I will definitely make again!

The family loves this recipe. I've even substituted blueberry for strawberry as well as used fresh fruit.

I sincerely hope you do not think this is a new recipe. I'm 56 years of age and I remember my mother making this when I was a child. I have the recipe in my box. She got it from an old cookbook she use to use. It is an excellent recipe, but an old one.

This recipe is very good, but I think it needs more cream cheese. You could hardly even taste the cream cheese.

I made this last night for my family and everyonoe loved it. I 1.5 the recipe and made it in a 12 x 15 dish. I used 2 cans of blueberry pie filling and about a cup of frozen blueberries sprinkled on the pie filling. This gave it a little more of a fresh fruit taste. Will definitely make again!

YUM!! Here's what I did differently: I layered it with crust, cream cheese filling, pie filling, and crust crumbles, no top cream layer. I also reduced the milk to 3 tbsp. and folded a tub of Cool Whip into the cream cheese layer. It kept its shape wonderfully and was so creamy and wonderful... When I make this again, I have to be sure to take it to some kind of function for others to share, or I'll eat the whole thing.

This recipe is very simple. I think I would prefer a different pie filling over blueberry.

This is delicious and everyone thinks it must have taken a long time to make, when really it takes no time at all! I used the pre-made graham cracker crust and was wonderful. Doesn't really come out in squares but it tastes so good, who cares!?

I served this at a Creative Memories workshop and all the women loved it. Several of them asked for the receipe and will be serving it at a neighborhood pot luck. Definitely a keeper in my receipe book.

I did not care for this at all. The middle cream cheese layer was actually bitter tasting. Sorry, I would not try this again.

Nice summertime treat - light and fruity with good taste and texture. My only criticism is that it does not hold its shape very well, so cutting into pieces doesn't really work. You end up with a scoopful on each plate rather than a square piece.

This was delicious and very easy to make. Next time I will double the cream cheese mixture. I gave this recipe to a friend and she also thought that doubling the cream cheese mixture would be better. Would also be great to try different fruits also. It's a keeper.

Good, very quick. Pretty fattening, but dont sub. fat free cream cheese and fat free whipped topping it was horrible and tasted fake. I made it a second time with "real" ingredients and it was very good. Any flavor pie filling...I used cherry
