Thanks Pam Goodlet for this recipe. I liked it. No changes made only that I used the bread machine. I'm very satisfied and I will be making again. :0)

I think I may have not let is rise enough because it was a very dense bread... Not sure if that was me or the recipe but I'd imagine if it had risen more it would have been much better! Also found after 2 days it was quite dry already.

This recipe is ok, but short shelf life and a bit "gummy" texture.

I am so pleased with this recipe. It was easy to make, gave 2 gorgeous & generous loaves ,sliced perfectly and held together nicely as my slices need to be thin. Obviously flavor counts.....it was delicious. My Mom would be proud!Thank you so much for sharing this recipe because I will use it regularly.

I have searched far and wide for the perfect homemade white bread loaf. Finally, I've found it! It's light and fluffy but soft and it just melts in your mouth! I followed the recipe exactly and would not change a thing about it! The dough is quite sticky when all the ingredients are first mixed so I put a little butter on my hands to keep the dough from sticking while I was kneading it. It then became very elastic and smooth. I also didn't bake it for as long as it calls for. It was a perfect golden brown and baked all the way through within 30 minutes in my oven, but I know all ovens are not the same. It got rave reviews from all my guests and my 1 year old just about attacked me after I fed him the first bite because he wanted more, fast! Everyone asked for the recipe and it was a delectable success. Thank you so much for sharing. I can't wait to make some melt in your mouth cinnamon rolls or dinner rolls with this recipe. I will definitely make this bread over and over again for many years to come.
