Awesome sauce for green beans! I used fresh green beans from my garden, steamed them tender, then added a little butter and fried them till they were lightly browned. I didn't mix in the blue cheese sauce because my kids don't like blue cheese so my husband and I just scooped it on top and sprinkled the bacon over that. Fabulous! I used a stick blender for the sauce but accidentally added it all at once. (Instead of pouring in the oil in a stream.) I blended it anyway and it came out perfectly. This is a keeper1

Yum, Yum! I made this for Christmas dinner and they were so good! We only had gorgonzola, but it still tasted great. I left some large chunks of cheese and we loved it! THis is definately a keeper!

This was pretty good but somewhat sour. Omly had canned green beans and used apple cider vinegar. Quick to make and a nice change for beans.

This recipe turned out very good despite the trouble I had blending the ingredients together. I used heavy cream instead of half n' half and I also added more blue cheese. The consistency was so thick it wouldn't process. I dumped all the ingredients in a frying pan with the bacon grease and sauteed it that way. I added a little bit of water and more olive oil and cooked it down then poured it over the beans. If I had measured out the bleu cheese I probably wouldn't have had such a problem. It still turned out delicious!
