This is a great dip - but then again, I looove blue cheese AND garlic! ;o) I made a few changes that I think really improved it. I used buttermilk instead of regular milk and I added some red wine vinegar (gives it just a bit of a tart flavor) and some salt. By adding a little more buttermilk to thin it out, this also makes a very yummy dressing! Also, make sure to crumble the blue cheese really well, unless you like your dip extra chunky. Will definitely make again!

Very tasty.. but mine came out too thin. I had to add sour cream (all I had on hand) to thicken it up some.

This was a huge hit at my house! The only thing I did differently was saute the garlic cloves before adding them to the mixture. Very tasty!!

This was pretty good, but I added a few things that my husband said made it great! I brought it to a party and it was gone in a flash, with everyone (guys too) asking for the recipe! Add: 1 pkg. (3 oz) real bacon bits, 2 TBS dried minced onion, 1 can (8 oz) tiny shrimp (rinsed & drained), 1/4 cup sour cream and 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. I also added a little more milk as it was too thick. Make sure you add the shrimp & bacon AFTER you blend the other ingredients, and fold them in. If you already like this dip, try it my way and you'll LOVE it!

As a dip the tasters didn't care for it much, but as a burger/sandwich spread it was a big hit. We did add quite a few things to the mix to get more than just a Blue Cheese flavor: Bacon, hot sauce, parmesean cheese, green onions and fresh ground pepper. Basicly we added the kitchen sink- but ended up with a fine spread though!

Very good - I added a little mayo and be careful on garlic clove sizes.
