Blue Cheese Garlic Dip
SUBMITTED BY:
Lillian Nardi
"This thick, creamy dip is my mom's recipe and a family favorite for ringing in the season. It also makes a tasty substitute for mayonnaise on chicken and turkey sandwiches."

I had to adjust this recipe...I LOVE blue cheese, but having a cup was way too much, so I only put 1/2 cup with 1 1/2 cup cream cheese. Also since I LOVE garlic I added two extra garlic cloves, but I would not recommend this if you are not a huge garlic fan! I use this dip for dipping chicken wings! ENJOY!

As a dip the tasters didn't care for it much, but as a burger/sandwich spread it was a big hit. We did add quite a few things to the mix to get more than just a Blue Cheese flavor: Bacon, hot sauce, parmesean cheese, green onions and fresh ground pepper. Basicly we added the kitchen sink- but ended up with a fine spread though!

Very good - I added a little mayo and be careful on garlic clove sizes.
