I had never made blue cheese dressing before now, and I had to modify it a bit since I read the other reviews about it being too salty. Instead of using onion salt, I took about two table spoons of raw red onion and put it through a garlic press, then I omitted garlic altogether and used about two table spoons of lemon juice instead of the vinegar - and YUMMY! I followed this recipe on everything else. You'll love this modification!

I too thought this looked a bit salty, so I used regular garlic and onion powders and cut the salt in half. Very good.
