Blonde Brownies
SUBMITTED BY:
Anne Weiler
"My family has enjoyed these bars as a potluck dessert, brown-bag treat and anytime snack many times throughout the years. Butterscotch or peanut butter chips can be used in place of the chocolate chips."

I made this with the butterscotch chips, the children as well as the adults went crazy for them. I had to make another batch to keep everyone happy.

To the reviewer who said they come out gooey: They're supposed to! This is almost exactly the same as the blonde brownies that I make, and they always come out gooey in the center. That's exactly why I love blonde brownies so much! Great recipe!

These have a good taste but, even after checking them with a toothpick that came out clean, they were gooey when they cooled. Not sure what I did wrong.
