These turned out great! I also doubled to a 9X13 and baked for 35 minutes. They came out perfectly!

I made no changes to the recipe. I have made them twice for our church coffee hour and everyone loves them.

The BEST blondies EVER! Will be using this recipe over and over again. The batch I made last night are already gone, and I'm making a second DOUBLE batch per request from my husband, who isn't even big on sweets! These are so good-definately a must-try!

I made a double batch for the 9X13 pan.. it was so good!! Loved it. My mom used to make "Blondies," as we call them, but this recipe surpassed hers--I'll be letting her know to try them out!! Absolutely LOVED the chewiness..

This is great base recipe. I used a tad more salt and a bit less vanilla. Also used 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup white. Baked at 325 for 25 min. Came out like a "cookie bar".Very tasty.

Very rich but very good. We doubled the recipe and put it in a 9x13 pan.

this is amazing! i have to admit though, my first try, i used brown sugar and somehow it just didn't cut it. this time, i used red sugar (i don't know if it's the same as the brown sugar though) and i just love the results (it tastes different, i tell ye)! it's soft and chewy! and amazingly... mmm~

I followed the recipe exactly but baked them in a 8x8 pan and omited the nuts. They turned out ok and had a light almost butterscotch type taste. I was expecting them to be a little less cake like then they turned out but all in all they were ok.

VERY VERY GOOD!! I do agree that this is more like a chocolate chip bar cookie than a blondie but it still does not take away from the five stars. It is really delicious and easy to make and I will make this again!! Thank you!

I followed everything in the recipe except I mixed in the chocolate chips and used and 8x8 pan. I cooked them about 27 minutes to make up for the pan size. Straight out of the oven these turned out really well and were baked perfectly (kinda worried about how they will be later b/c of what others are saying). Anyway, the only reason that I am giving these 3 stars is because they do not taste like brownies at all. They have the same consistency, flavor, everything of chocolate chip cookies except they are in bar form. If that's what you like, make this recipe. If you want brownies make something else.

I followed this recipe exactly and it did not come out gooey or at all brownie-like. It was much more like a bar cookie and got hard like a cookie by the next day. It tasted good, but was not what I expected.
