YUMMY!! SO good. I mixed the chips in with the dough, doubled the recipe, baked it in a springform pan for 35 minutes, and then decorated it like a cookie cake for my husbands birthday. It was delicous.

These are fabulous. Next time, I'll half the salt because the saltiness is the first thing that registers on my mind, kind of like eating a chocolate covered pretzel. I melted the butter in a pot on low, stirred in the sugar, and set it aside to cool before adding the egg. I added the dry ingredients right in the pot so I only had one thing to wash. Baked in an 8x8 for 30 minutes. Use a toothpick to test them. A knife will make them sink. Don't mess with the baking soda and the baking powder; you can't taste them at all. They bake up high and then sink a bit at the end. Super chewy texture!

I'm giving these three stars because I've made them about 5 times and they always disappoint me. They don't have a whole lot of flavor (just taste like sugar) and they aren't very fluffy. My husband loves the chewy texture but I think they should be fluffier. They just never seem as good as I hope. Kind-of a let down and I wish I could find a better recipe for Blondies.

These were FANTASTIC! Great brownie consistency, taste great hot and after being in the fridge. I used chopped pecans, instead of walnuts, and no chocolate. Brought them to my office and they were gone in literally 4 minutes.

Yum Yum Yum! More like a cookie than anything. I would have doubled the recipe had I known how little volume it made. I only had a pinch of walnuts left so maybe thats where my volume was missing not sure. Very tasty though!

I finally did this recipe correctly. One small step caused it to always fall - sifting the flour. It made a world of difference between the last batch and this one. This is by far the best I've made. Great with homemade vanilla ice cream.

Great recipe, very simple. The only change I made (and I do this often) is I subbed two tbsp of unsweetened applesauce for two of the tbsp of butter. These turned out great!

i didnt have chocolate chips so i substituted a chopped up toblerone bar. it came out delicious nonetheless. next time i will use less walnuts (came out a little too crunchy for my liking) but other than that a very simple and easy recipe that i delicious! i will definitely be using it again, i think this recipe would also make great cookies.

Delish! HUGE HIT with friends or at parties. They need to cook longer than listed, but not too long or they will dry out.

I was looking for a blondie recipe, and this one had the best reviews. So, I tried it, plain -- no nuts or chocolate chips. Doubled the recipe (the batter was heavenly!), baked in a 9x13 for 26 mins. Looked done, so I took it out -- only to find it fallen after 10 mins. So, it's back in the oven, covered so it doesn't dry out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works. I have high hopes for this recipe, and I'll definitely keep it handy.

After seeing all the wonderful looking pictures of this recipe I SO BADLY wanted mine to come out that good. Sadly they didn't even come close. I doubled the recipe and used splenda brown sugar. Those are the only 2 changes I made. After 15 minutes the brownies looked done, I took them out and they were stiff, crumbly, and just not that good. I am at a higher altitude, so I'm guessing that was part of the problem. Still disappointing.

As suggested I doubled the recipe. GREAT idea. Everyone loved them. One tip add more than 1 cup of chips. I made it again and doubled the chips by 2.5 and it made a differance.

Excellent!! These are now a staple at my house because they are so easy to put together and everyone loves them. I also doubled and baked in a 9x13 pan, allowing about 25 minutes in the oven. Also left out the nuts and mixed the chocolate chips right in. Also good with milk chocolate chips. Yum!

Great brownies, they ended up a touch dry but that may have been me overcooking them a few minutes. Make sure you mix the brown sugar mix into the eggs slowly. If my little sister hadn't been with me i would have had some sugary scrambled eggs.
