I wasn't crazy about the taste of the spices in the soup. Next time I will leave them out. Other than that, this was delicious and easy to make. I don't mind the seeds but if I was making this for company I would definitely take them out. I cut up some bread in tiny squares, heated some butter on a skillet and toasted the bread squares on it. Then I sprinkled some sugar and cinnamon on them and heated just enough for the sugar to caramelize a bit. I used those as croutons for the soup. It was a nice crunchy addition.

I liked the soup better as a topping (mixed with a little bit of syrup) for the Pumpkin French Toast I served it with. My son loved the leftovers frozen into popsicles.

Made mine with strawberries and orange juice as that is what I had. Kids licked theirs up.

I always try a new soup for Christmas and this was this year's choice. I did not strain out the seeds as I did not feel that it would impact the recipe all that much, and it did not. My family loved it even with the seeds in. The next time I make it I will have more time and will strain the seeds out just to see the difference.
