Yummo!! After a very large brasciole and meatball dinner, I needed something light to finish it off. This cobbler was perfect. It tasted light and, having reduced the sugar as recommended by other reviewers, was just the right sweetness. Baked them in two separate oven-safe dishes.

Very Yummy and very easy...wondering how long it keeps in the fridge though? Anyone know?

Easily the best blackberry cobbler I've ever had. Added more lemon to the fruit as well as some cinnamon. Next time I make it though I would double the topping. It was delicious!

This is the best cobbler recipe I've found. I boil the fruit on the stove and bake in a casserole dish instead of cast iron skillet and it always turns out great. I've used it with mixed berries, blackberries & blueberries with great results. Everyone comments on how yummy it is. I sometimes adjust the sugar according to the sweetness of the berries and sometimes add a little more lemon juice but it's right on target. Just a great cobbler recipe.

This is quite good, but does take a bit of work to make well. I used frozen blackberries, and it works just fine.

This is waaaay too sweet. My husband, who is a major sweetie, wouldn't even eat it. I followed the rec from a couple others who said it needed more dough. Didn't help. The berry mixture was so disgustingly sweet and the bread didn't have too interesting of a texture/flavor. Definitely do NOT recommend this recipe.

This was so delicious and so fun to make with blackberries we had picked! I cut the sugar down about a third and it was plenty sweet. I also do not have a cast iron skillet, so I just put it in a casserole dish to bake it. Served it with vanilla ice cream.

The only thing that i did differently was I put the filling in a glass baking dish and added the crumb topping on top of the filling and baked it that way... it turned out awesome!!!!!

It was very good, but eat it all the first night, as it didn't maintain its texture when stored. I cut the sugar down to 1 cup and it was still plenty sweet.

WOW! So very sweet, and delicious! Next time I will probably 1/2 the amount of sugar, as it was a little too sweet for my tastes but this is definately a keeper!

OH....This is one of the best recipes. I only had a cup of blackberries, so I transfered them into 2 ramikens & cooked them in a water bath, and they turned out amazing. My wife nearly threatens me to grab blackberries from my parents house whenever I visit just so I can make this again.

This was a wonderful cobbler recipe. I followed the recipe but I added a little lemon zest to both the batter and the berries. Next time I would use less sugar but the juice and the texture was the best.
