Everyone loves this cobbler and I have even started making the dough for crust for pies because it is so easy and rolls out wonderfully.

This is a delicious recipe! I tweeked the recipe a little by using 3 (5.6oz) containers of fresh blackberries. The melted butter and sugary syrup seem like a lot of liquid but it will be absorbed. This is so good this is my second time making it within 2 weeks!

i didn't have time to roll out the dough so i just kind of put it on top. And it turned out the same, but it just wasn't for me. Its tart and crunchy. If thats your pleasure then bake away, but if not i would advise you to find a different recipe

Awesome recipe, makes an delicious dessert with impressive presentation out of an old fashioned classic! We rolled it as well, and although it was a little messy, it worked out well. we also made this with half blackberries and half blueberries, picked fresh from our back yard. I found it to be the perfect sweetness.

The recipe itself tasted great.I did as others directed and added more blackberries. When I rolled it up, what a mess. I stuck it in the pan anyways and it came out very tasty.

This is a very good recipe. I followed it exactly and it come out great. I read some of the other reviews and found that the jelly roll wasn't that difficult and it had a nice presentation. Great warmed and with ice cream!

I thought the cobbler wasn't as sweet as I expected, and I didn't care for the blobs of dough because they didn't cook all the way through, and were quite flavorless. If I make it again, I'll increase the sugar a bit in the cobbler, use smaller spoonfuls of dough to cover the top, and top with some turbinado sugar and cinnamon.

My friend made this recipe and it was TOTALLY AWESOME! Absolutely the best cobbler I've every had. The only thing that she did different was use 4 cups of blackberries and increase the water and sugar to 1.5 cups each. FABULOUS!!!! I can't wait to try it myself.

This was my first cobbler ever and it turned out picture perfect! My fresh berries from my yard were quite tart but other than that it was really good. I did roll it up as suggested; it was easier than expected & made it very attractive. I will be trying this same recipe with peaches tonight. Wish me luck. I will let you know how it turns out. :>)

This is awesome, but I only give it 4 start because I think it could be done a lot simpler without the jelly rolling. The crust is perfect and flakes and crunches like a cobbler should. We prefer to eat it warm with vanilla ice cream.

LOVED IT!!! Before you put it in the oven, it looks like a big soupy mess but don't let that scare you! It turns out wonderful. Also, rolling it up and cutting is a little difficult so I will just drop it in with berries next time. Also plan on doubling the berries because that's my favorite part. This will be the recipe I use from now on

This was really good. I layered it like others have suggested and it came out with a very crisp upper crust that was just yummy. I'm not sure why, but I had liquid on the bottom after the baking time. I just kind of spooned the extra water/sauce over the cobbler and the vanilla ice cream I served it with. I will definately try again and hope that the extra liquid at the bottom resolves. Great recipe and it is a nice change from the cakey type of cobblers.
