Great recipe. Was more cake-like than my regular brownies but received rave reviews when I served them. I bake a lot of squares and cakes for social gatherings and when I brought these I was told I had outdone myself. I use many recipes from this site and usually have great results.

I plan to make these brownies for a fund raising bake sale in my office next week for the United Way. Since this is a new recipe for me, I made it exactly as written last night for a trial run . . . to see if I needed to change anything for next week. I love them just as they are and I brought a few into the office for some taste testing as well. Everyone who has tried them says they will be bidding on next week's batch. I don't plan to change a thing next week -- these are excellent exactly as the recipe is written!

Made these bars for game night and everyone loved them! They were a nice change from plain brownies too. Totally worth the extra work.

These brownies are excellent! They are a little time consuming so if your looking for something quick..this isn't it. I followed the recipe to a T and didn't have any issues! I will be making these again! Thanks for sharing!

These brownies are fantastic! I made it exactly as stated except I subsituted pecans for the walnuts. Just personal preference. I made them for a school bake sale and the staff at the school decided they were too good to sell to the kids and kept them for themselves! They were not as hard to make as it sounded. I will definitely make them again. Thanks for the recipe.
