I did not care for this recipe. It never thickened. I would not recommend it.

I tried this pie out at a barbecue we hosted a few nights ago - everyone really enjoyed it. It's very quick and simple to follow. I recommend using a chocolate crust and chocolate ice cream (instead of graham crust and vanilla ice cream) - otherwise it doesn't seem reminiscent of a black forest dessert! I am a huge fan of ice cream, so my only change next time would be to add more ice cream and less 'fluff', as the whipped topping mixture is awfully rich. This is obviously a personal preference. Others may enjoy more fluff than I do. :) All in all, I will definitely make this dessert again. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
