This was a good recipe. For the chocolate cupcake part, I used the Too Much Chocolate Cake recipe from this site. I didn't have any leftover cream cheese sauce though. It was a hit with everyone that tried it. I would make this again.

I've made these for my guests and they absolutely loved them! I placed the batter in foil cupcake paper cups before placing in muffin tray and it comes out great - no breakage - just peel and eat.

Listen to the recipe when it says to only fill 1/3 of the way - this will get you almost 24 cupcakes. They really do rise enough to be full-sized. I followed the recipe almost exactly - the only change was that I used regular distilled vinegar because I didn't have the cider vinegar on hand. But these are really yummy!! No icing necessary!

I don't know if I can fairly judge this recipe because I cheated and used a Devil's Food cake mix, but my whole family enjoyed them a lot. I had enough cake batter left over that I made up two mini loafs out of it. I added some chopped up walnuts to the batter and frosted them with whipped cream cheese frosting when done. I tried some frosting on one of the cupcakes but we found it to be a bit rich. They are good all on their own.

These were kind of bland to me...the chocolate flavor wasnt very strong and the filling needs some vanilla or something. Also, there wasnt nearly enough chocolate batter, but too much filling. these arent terrible, but there's got to be a better recipe out there...

I love this recipe! Made a few changes the last time I made it. Used a triple chocolate fudge cake mix and white morsel chips. The result was excellent! Also, I used a (sprayed)mini-muffin tin with no paper cups. They came right out of the tin, were bite size, and the hit of the picnic.

absolutely the best cupcake recipe around... I made mine in empty ice cream cones instead of cupcake liners, and then iced them with butter cream icing. they were FANTASTIC! Chocolatey, moist cakes with amazing flavor and texture, and the filling tastes like chocolate chip cheesecake! i actually had leftover filling and just baked it alone and they made little mini cheesecakes-oh my GOD was it good! Again, STRONGLY recommend this recipe, i know i will never look for another chocolate cupcake recipe again---THIS IS IT!

Wonderful recipe! Very moist. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I think these cupcakes are even better with frosting on top. Try a raspberry cream cheese frosting....that was my favorite on them.

I actually loved this recipe, but I made a small change. I used half of the regular chocolate, but I had some left over Williams-sonoma peppermint chocolate thats used for hot chocolate so I used the other half of the chocolate ingredient with that and it was absolutely delicious! I handed them out to my dad & sister (my husband doesnt like chocolate) and they oved them.

My husband loved these- but then again, he'll eat anything! However, I thought they were a little dry. Next time I will use water instead of milk like others have suggested.

This will get 5 stars the next time I make it with a few changes. I dont recomend using milk instead of water- I think the increased protien dries it up a bit. I would use water or coffee, hot for extra moisture. Perhaps I just over cooked them slightly too. Keep your eye on em! The flavor was great, they just turned out a bit dry. I loved the chocolate chips in them, and used lower fat Nufchetel cheese, which was great. I sprayed my paper liners and they didnt stick at all.

I was nervous at first because the batter was so watery and it only made 1 dozen cupcakes opposed to the 2 dozen that the recipe states. However these cupcakes were delicious! I will make them again and again!

I halved the recipe to try it and it made 8 cupcakes. I had plenty of leftover cake batter. Cupcakes popped right out of my greased foil cups. I used a medium sized scoop and did equal amounts of cake batter and cream cheese. Tasted yummy cold.
