What a wonderful, quick recipe! I followed the wise advice of others and sautéed three chopped cloves of garlic in a bit of olive oil and then blended everything together in the pot with a hand blender to save on dishes. I had 19 oz. cans of beans and they worked just fine — I blended one in and kept the other aside, so half the beans were whole. I used three teaspoons of cumin and added a teaspoon of lime juice — I'd recommend using freshly squeezed lime juice.
This was delicious, quick, easy, and I usually have all these ingredients on hand — I love this recipe!! Thanks so much.
