Pretty easy, although yes, it is a bit time consuming. It's really all the steps, though, which means that you can do a step, stop, do something else, do another step, et cetera, until it's done. That's exactly what I ended up doing today as I had a few errands to run. I made the crust part before running the errands then made the tart part when I got back. I like it, but the veggies on top are a bit overwhelming to me. I think I'd puree half of what is supposed to go on top next time, and put the rest on top. Mine was also very juicy; not sure why, unless it's bc I used roasted red pepper instead of fresh pepper. Otherwise, this has a beautiful presentation and it tastes very good. It was a filling lunch with salad. thanks for the recipe.

My family really liked this dish. I made it exactly as written except I used a springform pan instead of a tart pan.

This recipe makes a nice presentaion, it tastes good too. It does take quite a bit of time to prepare, from start to finish, so read through all the directions, and plan ahead. I don't have a tart pan, so I used a 9 in springform pan.
