I'll be honest...I started out looking for a black bean dip to accompany my fajita dinner when I came across this and decided to tweak this a bit to fit what I wanted. I simply opened the can of beans, drained them then dumped them in the food processor, added a LARGE clove of garlic, cumin & salt and blended away. Then I nuked them in the microwave for about 3 minutes and stirred in about a 1/4th cup of salsa...It was just what I was looking for! I love hummus too, so I can wait to try it as written.
