DELICIOUS! A lovely salad to just sit and eat! We enjoy eating it with pita. Our family doubled the spices and lime juice but that is pretty normal for us, we are big on SPICY!

This was really good!! We had it with quesadillas and they were delicious with a big scoop of this salad on top. It's also great as a salsa. Definitely a recipe I'll make a lot, especially for summer BBQs.

I loved the clean taste. As others suggested used less oil and more lime. I also used dried black beans which I soaked and cooked.

This was a good salad. I also reduced the amount of olive oil, and I only used half the cilantro, but added parsley to make up for it. I think we'll use the leftovers over grilled chicken tonight, I'm sure it will go nicely.

I thought this was fresh, light healthy. It has all my favorite things in it. I made this for a party, so I added a can of beans, a yellow bell pepper and extra avacado. I decided to add more dressing since I added the extra ingred., but once the salad was nearly gone there was too much dressing left in the bottom of the bowl. I think next I will cut back on the oil a lot, maybe a 1/4 of a cup and up the lime to 1/2 a cup at least. If that taste good still I will try even less oil. Also I read some of the reviews saying the tomato's got mushy, I cut mine up and put them in a small bowl with a little salt for an hour or so to get some water out of them and it worked great. I didn't add the tomato and avacado till just before leaving for the party, and it was great once we ate it, over a hour later. I will make this over and over again. Thanks very much for the recipe!

My family and I have tried this version numerous times and have always enjoyed the flavors. We've substituted fresh basil for the cilantro, red onions for the green onions, and green or yellow peppers for the red pepper to add some varying color. What turned into a salad, has now turned into a side appetizer by combining it with scoop tortilla chips. You won't be disappointed!

This salad was excellent and so healthy that I'll continue to make it! I did cut the oil in half, left out the avocado and cilanto because I don't like avocado and forgot the cilantro at the last minute. I'm sure the avocado would have been great for those that like it but it's my salad and I wanted to eat it! Try this one! :)

This salad is SO good! I added a bit more lime juice, but other than that it was great. I made it for a BBQ and doubled the recipe and it was still fantastic. I made it a few hours in advance and still tasted great. I received many compliments and requests for the recipe! Easy and delicious!!

This is very good as written but I like it even better with my personal changes -- I put in more lime juice (1/2 c) than oil (1/3) cup. I actually double the amounts above, add chilled cooked rice, refrigerate and voila! A light main course salad with complete protein.
