This recipe was great, very quick and easy to fix and just the right size for a single person who only wants a small quantity. I could only make 4 small biscuits with it, they were a little bigger than a donut hole or meatball ( I am trying to think of something to compare the size to ). The recipe was just perfect for me, I live alone, just me and my dog. Three for me and a treat for her :)

These turned out wonderfully, my daughter loves them, however I doubled the salt since all other reviews said they were bland. Great biscuits especially topped with gravy! Thanks!!

This is a lovely recipe. The biscuits were lighter and fluffier than any others I've made before, and the butter on the top was brilliant. I made them with unsalted butter instead of shortening, as I don't have shortening. Other than that, nothing changed. I gave four stars because they didn't rise all that much, but they definitely rose enough and had a great taste and texture.

They were a hit at my house and made just enough for my husband and me. So easy and they were amazing with butter and honey!

I thought these biscuits were delicious! I followed the recipe exactly but omitted the butter for spray butter on top. I've never eaten a biscuit that literally melted in your mouth, but these did just that.

I had never made biscuits before I stumbled on this yummy recipe. I found most of the recipes complicated and tiersome. My hubby loves biscuits but is really picky about what kind he eats and he loved these and praised them over and over. This is something considering my hubby is an avid complainer. :) I tested them out on company and they ate them like they were going out of style. I added a pinch of sugar to these biscuits to add a little shazam to them and it was perfect! They are good with a chocolate gravy too. Deffinatley worth the five stars!!!

I used butter instead of shortening, and they turned out perfect, though a tad more salty (of course). I think the key to getting them to rise and be flaky is extra kneading. I did have trouble actually getting 4 biscuits out of the dough, but the three I made were wonderful.

These were kind of dry and mine were flat. Definitely not flaky like the picture.
