My family really liked. I browned onion & garlic with my meat, and added 1 tsp of Italian seasoning to the tomato sauce, then instead of mixed veggies I used frozen spinach. Lots of flavor, very easy to make after a long day at work.

This was absolutely delicious. I would suggest doubling the recipe. Other than that it was GREAT. So easy to cook and fast. :) Thank you

I made this for dinner using leftover veggies and cut up meatloaf. I used Bisquick drop biscuits. Baked perfectly in 35 minutes.

Like other reviewers, I sauteed an onion and some garlic in with my ground beef for extra flavor. I also used a 6oz can of tomato paste (the one with herbs in it) instead of the tomato sauce and it was extremely flavorful and not the least bit watery. I also chose to use a canned veggie mix instead of frozen ones. I halved the biscuits horizontally and covered the whole dish, sprinkling the extra cheese on top five minutes before it was to come out of the oven. Yum!

We loved the taste of this recipe, but found that there was too many biscuit in relation to the rest of the dish. I would suggest either doubling rest of the ingredients or cutting the amount of biscuits in half.

We added 1 onion, chopped and sauted; 1 tsp Oregano; 1/2 tsp Basil; 1/4 tsp Marjoram, Thyme, and Rosemary to the meat mixture... pretty excellent!

I used canned (drained) vegetables and just a few sprinklings of the cheese (mostly using the cheese on top, not in the mixture)and this dish got devoured. My daughter went back for seconds and thirds! Never have I cooked something in a 13x9 dish and had the whole thing gone by the end of dinner.

I enjoyed this recipe. I did not have a "watery" problem with it, but i did thaw and drain the veggies prior to using them. I drained the beef after browning and omit the water. It's possible it was supposed to be tomato paste not sauce. That may have been the previous reviewers problem. Also, I covered with foil to prevent further browning to the biscuits.
