DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl, beat egg. Add chow mein noodles and garlic salt; stir to coat. Drop by 1/3 cupfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Using fingers, shape each into a nest; make an indentation in the center of each. Bake at 350 degrees F for 11-13 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
In a bowl, combine the first eight egg salad ingredients; mix well. Just before serving, spoon 1/4 cupful into each nest. Serve on a lettuce-lined plate if desired.

This is great. The nests are a great addition to any type of salad. The only thing different I did to the salad was add a dash if curry powder and dash of celery seed. It was perfect. I have served the nests with tuna, egg, chicken and turkey salads in them too. They are always a big hit.

The Egg salad was awesome. However if you are going to serve it in the nests it is best to do it as soon as they come out from the oven. I tried to save time by making the nests the night before and they tasted bland. I did try one with the egg salad after it came out of the oven and it was much better.

I was looking for a good egg salad recipe. I didn't do the noodle part, but the egg salad was great. I didn't add the celery because I didn't have any and added about a 1/2t of paprika and an extra 2t of mayo. Very yummy!
