This is an easy, healthy, but yummy, no-bake snack that disappears quickly whenever I take it along. You can easily substitute other ingredients for the cereal part such as ground or chopped nuts, flax seeds, etc. If you don't have enough of one thing, just add more of another.

Crisp rice cereal is mixed with an assortment of dried fruit and nuts in these sweet no bake bars. We bike and hike several times a week and take these bars with us for a tasty boost of carbs and protein. Wrapped individually and frozen, they are easy to stuff in a pack on your way out the door.

My girlfriend brought these granola bars over for a playgroup one morning and ever since they've been a staple! My son requests them almost daily so I usually triple the recipe and make 2 trays so we have plenty on hand. 

Oat Bars

These don't use too much sweetener, and it is reasonably healthy. It's good for the sugar and health conscious. 

Fruity Granola Bars

Power packed, fruity and nutty. Better than store-bought granola bars. Use any kind of dried fruit e.g. - chopped dates, chopped apricots, chopped prunes, etc. 

Trail Bars

I have used raisins in place of dates, and used chopped walnuts and pecans instead of almonds; up to you. The perfect snack and energy booster for a day in the great outdoors, or any occasion. Warning: Addictive!
