Definitely best once the flavors meld. I also add I quick splash or two of Tabasco or hot pepper sauce, it just enhances the flavor doesn't really make it spicy.

This is the best I have ever tasted. Even my husband liked it. So easy to make. We have a local restaurant that makes their own dressing and this surpasses it. I will definetly make this again! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Wow - delicious! I never thought about adding Worcestershire Sauce to a blue cheese dressing, but it really gives it a nice tangy flavor.

The best blue cheese dressing ever! I used it to dip vegetables and buffalo wings- perfectly compliment each other. I also dipped chicken breast in it as a base for baked "fried" chicken! The chicken was sooooo moist!

I haven't had Blue Cheese Dressing since I was a kid...a LONG time ago...Bill's version was much better than what I remembered. I made this as the sauce for Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza. This dressing is outstanding! I plan to use this recipe for chef salad type recipes as well. Thank you for sharing this recipe; we enjoyed this very much.

This is the one! I have tried many of the blue cheese dressings/dips on this site and this one is by far the best. I too added more sour cream than mayo (personal preference) and two cloves of fresh garlic and dijon mustard instead of powdered. I have served this dip at my last two parties to absolute raves. It's fabulous! Thanks Bill!

My husband is a huge blue cheese fan, so I decided to make this for him ... and he LOVED it! He said it was even better the day after I made it.

oh my gosh! this blue cheese dressing is beyond amazing. i wish i could rate it 100 stars. my husband and i love blue cheese dressing and we both thought this was much, much better than store bought...and better than any we've had at restaurants. we used it for salad dressing and dip. the only change to the recipe i made was adding more blue cheese crumbles. yummy!

YUMM YUMM YUMM! I used light sour cream which is not as thick so helps to thin it out a bit without altering flavor. I also used gorganzola cheese which is a mild blue cheese, I LOVE blue cheese so I would add more next time. I ate this with celery before letting it sit and it was fabulous, can't wait to try it again after its been in the fridge for a few hours.

This is an excellent blue cheese dressing recipe. Very easy to make. I didn't use the dry mustard simply because I didn't have any on hand, but still very delicious anyway. Much, much better than ANY bottled variety.

GREAT recipe. Definitely best after it has sat 24 hours. (Too early and it isn't nearly as flavorful.) I love a blue cheese dressing that has a strong blue cheese flavor, so I will add more cheese next time. I will definitely make this again!

This is UNREAL! I used a little less mayo than called for. I can't get over how good this was. I fixed this last night for my husband to dip his hot wings in and I don't know if he has ever come out of his trance yet! My hubby's name is Bill, and he wanted me to tell you Bill, thanks for the recipe!!!

Wonderful! I made a few adjustments though. I used white pepper so I wouldn't have black specks in the finished product. It was alittle salty so next time I will omit the salt and I doubled the blue cheese (just my preference.) I doubt that I will ever buy processed blue cheese dressing again. The longer it sits, the better it gets!!!!!!!!!!1
