Really very good. I followed advice of others and did my sour cream and mayonnaise in equal portions. It came out very thick - good for a dip. But I'll add milk to thin it more for a suitable salad dressing.

This is awesome dressing!! Having said that..let me tell you how I "messed" it up, LOL. I used fat free sour cream and reduced fat mayo trying to be healthier. It tastes great, but it's actually too thin..almost runny after 1 night in the fridge. Moral of the story here is go with the full fat sour ceam and mayo, lol. I don't know why fat free stuff makes it runny..but it does. I'm eating it anyway..it's just too darn tasty not too, lol.

This recipe tasted too much like mayonaise. It was easy to make and i followed it to the "T". I think i'll just buy it next time.

I love this dressing! Lettuce has become an excuse to eat the dressing! I substituted yogurt for half the mayo and it is still rich and so creamy.

Very good with Buffalo Wings. The only change I made was to add some green onion. I will make this recipe everytime I make Wings.

I followed other reviews and flip flopped the measurements for sour cream and mayo, and used the Treasure Cave blue cheese (memories of my grandmother!), and combined in my food processor until smoother. This is excellent!! My husband and daughter can't stop raving. Hubby even mentioned he had quit eating blue cheese in restaurants many years ago as it was always too strong; that's not the case with this dressing. Add a little Parmesan to make it reminiscent of the Coco's House Dressing -- yum!! Thanks for sharing!!

Used light sour cream and light mayo as that was what I had on hand. Cut the Worcestershire amount in half and used marginally more cheese (Danish Bleu) than called for. Amazing dressing! Nice and chunky. Made it for the Buffalo Chicken pizza recipe, but really enjoyed it on the green salad I made to go with. This will be a keeper in my recipe stash.

I am not normally a huge fan of creamy dressing, but thought that this went well with the Buffalo Chicken Pizza recipe.

I made this recipe to be used with "Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza" also from this site. The only change that I made was to use light mayo. I would suggest that you make this at least two days before you need it to get the blue cheese flavor throughout. Earlier than this and it tastes too much like the mayo. After two days and it was heavenly!

Oh my God! I couldn't believe Blue cheese can taste this good- I made it and used it on the buffalo style chicken pizza on this site- I have never tasted pizza this good. It tasted like something out of a gourmet store. Thanks so much Bill

I will definitely be making my blue cheese dressing from now on. No more store bought. My husband and I made this up to go with buffalo wings and it was unbelievable!! Didn't even wait the 24 hours to try it. Makes a good portion too. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe.

I did not care for this, and I should have known better than to make this in the first place when I saw the ingredients and their proportions in the recipe. I made the mistake of paying attention only to some of the 5-star reviews and not the more accurate 1-star reviews, which are VERY accurate. I agree with them completely that the mayonnaise is WAY overwhelming, Worcestershire doesn't really have a place here, and the garlic is overwhelming too. It's too thick and, as one other reviewer stated, just plain nasty. I tried my best to doctor it up by adding some buttermilk but, alas, the damage was already done. A horrible waste of good ingredients, particularly expensive Blue cheese. I'll stick to the one I simply throw together myself with equal parts sour cream and buttermilk, and a LITTLE mayo. (Also, for those who are interested, salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste, a pinch of sugar, and a LITTLE splash of white vinegar)
