This recipe is great for the person who does not want the blue cheese to overpower the dressing but add to it with the other seasonings. I love blue cheese, this recipe, to me, is the perfect mix of cheese and dressing flavor.

Wow! Loved this dressing. At first I was going to change the sour cream and mayo mixture amounts around as a lot of reviews suggested but then decided to go with the amounts as written. We LOVED it! I did make 3 changes though. I used a clove of fresh garlic in place of the powder; switched the dry mustard for Dijon and added a little bit of extra blue cheese. I used just a regular danish blue cheese so it wasn't very strong. Will make a again and again. Thanks!

I love blue cheese but don't use dressing very often because i don't like store bought. This was good but i did as some others and put more sour cream than mayo. not a big mayo fan. I also left out worsh. sauce, I may try and find a vegetarian version and see what it adds to the flavor. Also i love blue cheese and avacado together so i think next time i make this i'm going to blend in an avacado before adding the crumbles. Thanks

Just wonderful. I took others' advice and used half sour cream and half mayo, plus added lemon juice and thinned with milk. My guests just loved it!

What great dressing! Only modifications were to flip amounts of mayo/sour cream at other users suggestion & I added a few dashes of lemon juice and fresh chopped parsley. AMAZING! (I also doubled bleu cheese - but that's just a personal preference.) I will NEVER use another bleu cheese dressing recipe! Thanks so much for sharing!

This is THE BEST blue cheese dressing EVER! The only additions I make are 1 Tbsp of white vinegar (for extra tang), i use a bit more blue cheese than the recipe calls for and I use fresh garlic as opposed to powder. Seriously, the best!!

This is the bomb!!! I have made it numerous times and because I'm not a fan of Mayo and Worcestershire Sauce...I reversed the portions of Sour Cream & Mayo, cut Worcestershire Sauce by half and doubled the Bleu Cheese! Thank you for sharing the absolute winner with us, Bill! You're da man!

This is the best blue cheese dressing - only needed a little milk to make more of a dressing consistency - without milk it's more like a dip.

This is a great recipe for blue cheese dressing, and easy too! I even used fat free sour cream and will try fat free mayo next time. The only thing I would change is to cut back on the salt, maybe to 1/4 tsp. Some may like it the way it is, though.
