The sour cream, mayonnaise and buttermilk make it creamy. The garlic and hot sauce give it zip. The blue cheese gives everything a reason for being. Try this one!

About 25 years ago, after experimenting with recipes for a blue cheese dressing, I came up with this quick-to-make combination. I usually mix up a double batch because it never lasts long. It's also great as a dip for crackers, veggies or crusty breads, or instead of mayonnaise on sandwiches.

Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing

The secret ingredient? Steak sauce. The creamy part? Mayonnaise and sour cream. The end result is a delicious garlic- infused dressing that would be perfect topping a salad of grilled beef or chicken.

Far tastier than anything bottled, this blue cheese dressing boasts minced herbs and fresh garlic. Refrigerate prior to serving so flavors can mingle.
