This is by far, the best barbeque sauce in the world! I will use nothing else but this for our pulled pork sandwiches. This is one of those recipes that doesn't need any tweeking. Use as is and you'll have some happy eaters!

This is a great recipe. Even though I used white vinegar (which made the sauce a little sharper than it probably would be with the red...), I thought it was great. Upon a second try, I cut down the vinegar (as I still didn't have any red-wine vinegar), and added about 1/2 tsp of cumin (this was in a 24 serving recipe), which turned out quite well, adding just a little more flavor to this, already great, recipe. Thanks!

This was a great recipe. My family says no more bottle sauce, this is a must from now on. I didn't change a thing about the recipe and it was perfect on my short ribs.

Great sauce, will use again. I was out of tomato sauce so I doubled the ketchup. It was a little too sweet, so if I have to use ketchup again I'll cut down the brown sugar.

Thanks for sharing your recipe. I was short a couple ingredients - the smoke & celery seed, but it still worked out great. Everyone enjoyed it, including my husband - that never eats BBQ sauce!

I didn't have any bbq sauce, and really wanted to bbq some chicken. Instead of going to the store to buy a bottle, I thought I'd make it fresh. And I found this flavorful recipe, and was thoroughly impressed with the taste. And I enjoyed making it from scratch. I was excited to buy 3 things I have never bought: liquid smoke (for those rookies like me who need help finding it - it's by the hot sauce), molasses (by the syrup & honey - I thought it would be by the baking stuff), and celery seed (no brainer - in the spices section). It makes a lot! So either cut back by half or more if it is just for one time use, or if you know how to properly seal it and store it then do that. I just decided to cook with it all week to use most of it up. I used this on chicken legs, thighs and breasts, as well as pork chops. All of it was delicious.

This was very good and much easier/quicker to make than I had thought it would be to make a homemade BBQ sauce. I added a bit more vinegar than the recipe called for because I like the flavor it brings to a BBQ sauce. It was delicous and easy to make. I used it to make the "Slow Cooker Barbeque Ribs" from the AR site. The meal was liked by my whole family. No need to buy store bought BBQ sauce anymore. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe!

Fantastic recipe - very easy to throw together with things I keep in the pantry anyway. My kids LOVE this sauce more than anything I can buy in a bottle! It's also easy to adjust the seasonings and sweetness to taste. Thanks!

This is so good! No need to buy bottled ever again. My daughter has a fructose restricted diet and therefore, can't eat most bottled BBQ sauces. I was happy to find this recipe!
